How Our Cleaning Process Works

At Swept Away by Shaye, we believe that a truly clean home starts with a strong foundation.

While we do offer one-time deep cleanings, move-in / move-out cleanings, post-construction cleanups, Airbnb turnovers, and commercial services, all ongoing residential services begin with an initial deep clean.

This first visit allows us to bring your home up to our standards — detailed, refreshed, and truly clean — so we can then maintain it properly going forward.

After your deep clean, you may choose:

Weekly
Bi-weekly
Monthly maintenance cleaning

From there, we focus on consistent upkeep, keeping your home in top shape without starting from scratch each visit.

Please note: We do not move heavy furniture or appliances unless already moved prior to service.

Our Services

Deep Cleaning (Initial or One-Time Service)

Our deep cleaning is a detailed, top-to-bottom clean designed to reset your home.

This service is required for all new ongoing clients and is also available as a one-time deep clean.

A deep clean includes:

Detailed kitchen cleaning, including cabinet exteriors, backsplash, stovetop, and appliances (exterior only)
Bathrooms thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
Baseboards, trim, and doors washed
Ceiling fans and light fixtures cleaned
Interior window glass and sills spot cleaned
Floors vacuumed and washed
Cleaning behind and under furniture that is lightweight and easily movable

This service addresses built-up dust, grime, and detail areas not typically covered in routine maintenance.

Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning

Our move-in / move-out cleaning is designed for empty, unoccupied homes and prepares the space for new owners or tenants.

This service includes:

Inside and outside of cabinets and drawers
Appliances cleaned inside and out
Baseboards, trim, doors, and walls spot cleaned
Bathrooms fully sanitized
Interior windows and sills cleaned
Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout
Cobweb removal and dusting of all surfaces

This service is ideal for real estate transitions and vacant properties.

Ongoing Upkeep Cleaning (Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly)

Our maintenance cleaning is designed to keep your home consistently clean after an initial deep clean has been completed.

Upkeep cleaning includes:

Kitchen

Wipe down countertops and backsplash
Clean sink and stovetop
Exterior of appliances
Spot clean cabinet exteriors
Floors vacuumed and washed

Bathrooms

Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers
Mirrors cleaned and fixtures polished
Floors washed

Bedrooms & Living Areas

Dust all reachable surfaces
Make beds (linens changed if left out)
Clean mirrors and glass surfaces
Vacuum carpets and wash hard floors

Throughout the Home

Empty trash as needed
Spot clean high-touch areas
Maintain baseboards and trim as needed
